Okay, now for the giveaway! I love cookbooks, and I’d imagine you guys do too, so I thought it’d be a cool first giveaway idea! The one I have for you today is called ‘The Sweet Life’ by Sam Talbot.
Sam was runner-up on season 2 of Top Chef, a show which gains my undivided attention whenever it’s on. His cooking and debonair looks gained him notoriety, as well as ‘fan favorite’. Being diagnosed at a young age with type I diabetes, he has written this book for glycemic-conscious individuals (isn’t that all of us these days?) by using ingredients that us bloggers love, such as stevia, agave, and almond milk. With almost 250 pages of amazing tips and recipes like lemon ricotta hot cakes (which I’ve personally made and love), Shirataki noodles with cashews and chiles, and coconut acai granola crumble, this book is perfect for anyone trying to limit their simple carbohydrates, maintain their blood sugar, or consume a delicious meal!
