Here in Arizona, spicy food is quite commonplace.
There’s a Mexican food restaurant on just about every corner, and the dishes burst with flavor from ingredients such as cumin, oregano, cilantro, and hot peppers.
In the spirit of my home state and my love for quinoa, I wanted to pair these tastes together to create a salad worthy to be called ‘southwestern’, as well as delicious.
