My appetite has been a bit better in the morning lately, so I’ve been making myself larger, more filling smoothies…
…this one was so delicious! I started out by making a lime smoothie with hemp milk, lime juice, 1/2 an avocado, and a spoonful of raw honey, but I got a bit adventurous and added in a Bosc pear and about one cup of frozen mango. The flavors went together beautifully!
I’m so happy it’s (almost) fall, because pears and apples are becoming more plentiful than ever!
I’ve been happily snacking on at least one of each everyday. 😀
I had a strong craving for sushi last week, so I decided to make my own.
Since all of my heavy metal issues, I don’t eat fish, but I love the seaweed/brown rice/vegetable combo. I like to add slices of avocado, cucumber, and carrot to the rolls and dip them in soy sauce.
I’m preparing two Snickers recipes for October. A traditional bar with a ‘nougat’ layer and an easier, quicker recipe without it in cup form…
…it’s been a tough job to sample the end products, but someone’s gotta do it!…
Two words…Carrot Spaghetti.
I can’t get enough of this easy meal right now!
Too many Snickers cups, so no dessert for me! 🙁
