This lotion is amazing. I’ve been using it on my daughter for her eczema, and it’s been working like a charm. It’s not only helping her eczema to clear, it’s also moisturizing her skin and keeping it soft.
We’ve had a tough time finding something that agrees with her, as she is (ironically) allergic to many of the ‘natural’ ingredients in products for eczema, but she tolerates this very well so far.
I love the fast-absorbing, non-greasy feel, and the ingredients are all so pure (water, coconuts, cinnamon, apples, just to name a few), you can actually EAT the lotion!
According to Dr. Oz, this delicious, high protein grain is the newest super-grain.
Freekeh Foods sent me a couple of complimentary bags to try, and my husband and I just love it. I cooked it in water, but it is so flavorful that it tastes as if it were cooked in broth. My husband thought it smelled reminiscent of Ramen noodles.
It is roasted green wheat, so it’s not for those of you that are gluten-free, but if you’re looking for an alternative to rice or quinoa, you may want to give this a shot!
I made a pilaf out of it with scallions, celery, dried cranberries, pecans, cilantro, goat cheese, and a light olive oil/lemon juice dressing, and it was just scrumptious.
3. Lemon Juice Toner
Though I love my Homemade Vitamin C Serum, I like to change-up my skin care routine so my face doesn’t become resistant to the same products.
When my face needs brightening or toning (usually after a workout or a sleep-deprived night), I like to swipe lemon juice (naturally high in vitamin C) on my skin.
I typically leave it on for 5-10 minutes before rinsing it off, and it leaves my skin brighter and tighter!
I recently purchased this beautiful ring from Julianne Designs on Etsy and just love it!
It is so lightweight and dainty, I hardly feel it on my finger. I love rings and bracelets, and I feel like this gives me just a touch of classy, girly style that goes with any look.
They are made solely from parmesan cheese, (some have other seeds, spices or herbs added to them, such as sesame, flax, chia, rosemary and caraway) and NO flour or grains of any kind.
The crackers are savory and crispy with six grams of protein in just three crackers. My girls both love crunchy crackers and since they both do well with parmesan cheese, they are able to snack on them without itching and scratching. Hurray!
