Lately, my pregnancy nausea has returned with a vengeance, so I’ve been having my breakfast a bit later in the morning. This day, I tried something new and made a chocolate cherry walnut smoothie…
…this was incredible! I didn’t need banana or avocado to achieve a thick, creamy consistency, and the sweetness was spot on! Definitely going to have to share this soon!
After some shopping at Old Navy with my two girls, I came home and made myself a substantial salad…
I had a recent episode where I may have ingested some ‘bad’ chicken, so I’ve had an aversion to it since, but this baby was still filling!
A combination of green leaf lettuce along with a dark green spring mix was mixed with red cabbage, grated carrot, cucumber, radishes, and red bell pepper. I topped the salad with a sprinkle of feta cheese, toasted sunflower seeds, and dried cranberries and then doused it in a simple apple cider vinaigrette dressing.
A bit later, I made myself a cheese crisp…
…using my Homemade Tortillas and raw milk cheddar cheese.
Before heading to the gym this day, I had a large navel orange along with a few pickles (pregnant girl’s BFF!)…
Dinner was a mix of leftovers and remakes…
I had some lemon mint quinoa in the fridge from a few meals back, so I paired that with my Creamy Cauliflower Alfredo, a handful of green peas, and a sprinkle of fresh (er, not moldy) basil.
Quinoa pairs surprisingly well with this sauce!
For dessert I indulged in a couple of my No-Bake Cookies and Cream Bars…
Such a great way to end the night!
