Happy New Year!
It has been strange to be away from the blog for so long, as I usually post EVERY Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I have definitely missed it and hope one or two of you might have missed me too! 🙂
Today’s post is to catch you up a bit on what I’ve been up to in the kitchen and explain my intentions for January.
Last year, I deemed the month of January ‘Detox-mas’ and am continuing that tradition into this year. While I consider all of the recipes I post healthy, Detox-mas is devoted to using NO sugar or sweeteners of any sort, though stevia and fruits (fresh and dried) will still be used.
Some of what you can expect this month include:
Healthier Broccoli and Cheese Soup
Sugar-Free Blueberry Muffins (V, GF)
Vegetable Meatloaf Sliders
Brown Rice Mushroom Pilaf (V, GF)
Cinnamon Oatmeal Truffles (V, GF)
If you’re interested in what was popular last year, check out these recipes:
One of my favorites! Chocolate and raspberry pair so well together.
A delicious mix of what you might ordinarily have for brekky.
Doughy, fat, and so delicious!
Grain-free, gluten-free, sugar-free, and only three major ingredients.
I hope you all had a great Christmas and a wonderful New Year’s Eve. I’ll see you Friday with a new delicious recipe!
What did you eat over the holidays? Do you have any resolutions for the new year?
I’ve never been one for resolutions, but lately, I’m feeling the desire to juice more! I really like how it makes me feel (energy-wise) and how great it makes my skin look.
