1. New Nutribullet
I’m in love with my Nutribullet 900, but they recently added yet another high-powered machine to their product line…
The new RX boasts almost twice as much power as the 900, and is set to rival the infamous VitaMix in its ability to make anything from silky smooth beverages to hot soups!
I have yet to purchase this beast, but hope to soon!….*cough, cough* Christmas present *cough*.
2. Derma Roller
One purchase I have made, and am extremely happy with, is this Derma Roller…
The technology behind this little gadget is that by rolling tiny needles on your face, pores are opened and collagen production is stimulated, thus aiding with skin conditions like acne and aging. Following the roll, you apply a good vitamin C serum or other skin cream for better absorption and maximum effectiveness.
I’ve been using mine for about a month now and have seen better exfoliation and clarity, along with increased moisture. I usually use it at night before I go to bed, which consists of 5-10 minutes of rolling. I then follow it up with a vitamin C serum, and when I wake up the next morning, any redness is gone.
My initial hesitation was that the needles would be painful, but they’ve been fairly tolerable, and it has been worth it for me.
My new favorite spice blend comes from the Braggs’ family…
This awesome blend is great on just about anything from chicken to potatoes to quinoa and will be a staple in my kitchen from now on!
4. Jack White
Kind of a weird addition to FF, but I couldn’t help but share a song from Jack White’s latest album, Lazaretto.
My husband introduced me to him a number of years ago, and I’ve enjoyed him ever since! Check out ‘Would You Fight For My Love?’ for a good listen.
In case you’re curious about the definition of every word like me, a lazaretto is generally defined as an isolation hospital for people with infectious diseases, especially leprosy or plague. 🙂
My blog buddy Christal from Nutritionist in the Kitch, recently penned her first e-book all about power bowls!
Complete with 10 different bowls, including ones for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert, these are easily adapted to fit your individual allergies and diet type.
Some of the ones I love include the Santa Fe Power Bowl, a Mexican-themed dish with quinoa, black beans, and veggies, as well as the California Chicken Power Bowl, a mix of spinach, chicken, and California avocado, among other veggies, topped with a delicious, creamy dressing.
What I love about Christal’s book is the simplicity and ease of each recipe, and the pictures are gorgeous!
