Hey there, it’s been awhile since my last Friday Finds!
To recap, Friday Finds is where I highlight some of my favorite things lately, some cooking-related, some not.
1. LCD Writing Tablets
We’ve had a couple of long road trips lately, on which Mickie can be a total pain! She’s turning two in a couple of weeks, so that ought to give you an idea of where we’re at, personality-wise. These little drawing tablets are great to take along, and they entertain her, at least part of the time. My older kids love them too!
2. Toxic Book
This is truly a great health book, filled with information on all things mold and Lyme. I’m currently dealing with a mold situation myself, and this book has helped me navigate it all better. If you are really sensitive to tiny amounts of foods and/or supplements, and you deal with reactions to various smells (me!), this book speaks to people like us. That point can be one that is hard for a lot of doctors to understand, so reading this has given me some comfort.
3. Enchanted Waters on Etsy
Looking for some handmade beauty products? Have you checked out Etsy lately? I found this little company called Enchanted Waters and am really loving the things I’ve bought! I’ve tried the lactic acid, glycolic acid, and this dead sea mud mask so far. The mask smells horrible (like sulfur?), but it really brightens and tightens.
Thriftbooks has become my favorite place for finding old cookbooks. I’ve found some real gems that are centered around my particular way of eating, namely, candida diet, low sugar, and allergy-friendly. If you’re looking for a book to own, be sure to check them out!
5. Feel Good Music
If you need a little music inspiration, check out a few of my current favorites on YouTube:
Have a great weekend!
