Creamy, thick, and delicious, this healthy vanilla milkshake is banana-free and made with just a few ingredients!
Hap-hap-happy Halloween everyone!
Otherwise known as my favorite holiday, this year, it snuck up on me far too quickly!
The hubs and I have been costume-ready for months now, so I’m excited to get into my getup, take some pictures, get out of my getup, and spend the remaining portion of the night bingeing on sweets and horror movies.
Hopefully, I’ll have a few cute pics of all of us to share in the near future. 🙂
While the majority of the nation will be partaking of packaged candy goodness, us Goslins will be making homemade s’mores with these Buckwheat Graham Crackers and testing out a new berry pie recipe for the upcoming holiday season. Fun fun!
This recipe has pretty much nothing to do with Halloween, though I considered many ways in which I might tie it in.
It’s kinda green (slime smoothie, anyone?)…it’s a treat, though not of the traditional Halloween variety…aaaaand that’s about it.
The story behind this milkshake actually has more to do with satisfying a personal craving, which is pretty much the impetus for all my recipes.
Chocolate shakes abound here on the blog, but I had yet to create a good vanilla one!
This has become a favorite around here with both me and my girls.
My daughters love to have it for breakfast with a handful of buckwheat granola on top, in true smoothie bowl fashion, just like their mama!

For a sweeter shake, add a couple dashes of stevia or more honey as you desire.
This is the vanilla powder I like.
What are you dressing up as for Halloween?
