Easy Cauliflower Mashed Potatoes

Low carb mashed potatoes substitute that is healthy and easy to make.

  • 4 cups finely chopped cauliflower about one small head
  • 1 Tbsp butter or olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp plain yogurt Greek or regular both work
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt plus more to taste
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper plus more to taste


  • Steam the chopped cauliflower until easily pierced with a fork (about 10-12 minutes).
  • Take the steamer basket off of the pot and place it onto a tea towel for a minute or so to drain off any excess water.
  • Process everything together until combined. Pulse it instead to keep more texture, if you prefer.
  • Taste for seasoning and serve!
