Last Minute Cracker Jack Pecans (Vegan, Paleo)

Ingredients

  • 2 c. raw pecans
  • 1/4 c. maple syrup
  • 1/4 t. sea salt
  • a few dashes of cayenne pepper as desired

Instructions

  • Begin by warming a skillet over medium high heat.
  • Add in the pecans, maple syrup, salt, and cayenne.
  • Stir the mix continuously until the maple syrup reduces down and the nuts are coated and toasted , about 3-4 minutes.
  • Pour the mix onto a wax paper-lined plate and chill them in the freezer for 5-10 minutes.
  • Break apart and enjoy!
