Fresh Tomato Marinara or Pizza Sauce
This sauce is made with just a few fresh ingredients, including garlic and tomatoes. It's delicious atop pizza or mixed in with pasta.

- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 3 Roma tomatoes diced
- sea salt to taste
- 1-2 Tbsp fresh basil or parsley chopped
Heat the oil in a medium saucepan.
Add the garlic and allow it to cook for 10-15 seconds.
Stir in the tomatoes and bring the mix to a low simmer.
Add a dash of salt at this time as well. Tomatoes have a naturally high amount of sodium, so you don't need much!
Allow the sauce to cook for 13-15 minutes, until it has reduced a bit and the tomatoes are, well, saucy.
Stir in the fresh herb, if using.
Use as desired.
