Oatmeal Waffles
Our family's favorite waffle recipe!

Servings 4 waffles
- 1 cup milk of your choice
- 1 large egg
- 2 Tablespoons oil or melted butter
- 1 ½ cups oats
- 1 Tablespoon coconut sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon sea salt
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Blend everything together until smooth.
Let the batter sit and thicken for 2-3 minutes to thicken.
Pour ~1/2 cup of batter onto a preheated waffle maker for each waffle; let it cook until your waffle maker indicates it is done.
Repeat with remaining batter (about four times).
