Oatmeal Waffles

Our family's favorite waffle recipe!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk of your choice
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 Tablespoons oil or melted butter
  • 1 ½ cups oats
  • 1 Tablespoon coconut sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  • Blend everything together until smooth.
  • Let the batter sit and thicken for 2-3 minutes to thicken.
  • Pour ~1/2 cup of batter onto a preheated waffle maker for each waffle; let it cook until your waffle maker indicates it is done.
  • Repeat with remaining batter (about four times).
