A rich and creamy hot chocolate recipe made with the addition of an egg for extra protein and thickness.

Ingredients

milk or water

nut or seed butter
(only add if using water)

cocoa powder

honey, to taste
(granulated sweetener would suffice)

tsp
vanilla extract
good dash
sea salt

egg
stevia, to taste

Instructions
Blend the water with nut or seed butter, if not using already prepared milk.
In a medium saucepan, whisk the egg with the honey (or other sweetener of choice), cocoa powder, and salt.
Whisk in the milk until all is smooth.
Place pot over medium heat and stir consistently for about 5-6 minutes or until the mixture has thickened.
Stir in the vanilla, as well as extra sweetener or stevia, to taste.
Top with whipped cream, marshmallows, cinnamon, etcetera, and enjoy!
