Ingredients
DRY INGREDIENTS:
1cupoat flour
4Tbspcocoa powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/4tspbaking powder
1/4tspsea salt
WET INGREDIENTS:
2/3cupapplesauce
1(heaping) Tbspcoconut oilsemi-solid
1(heaping) Tbsphoney
1largeegg
1 1/2tspvanilla extract
2Tbspmilk of your choice
1/4 - 1/3 cupchocolate chips or chopped dark chocolatefor topping, optional
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Mix the dry ingredients in a large bowl.
Stir in the remaining ingredients and mix until well combined.
Pour the batter into a well-oiled 8 x 8 inch baking dish.
Top with chocolate, if desired.
Bake 12-16 minutes or until top is springy. Don't overbake them or they will be dry!
Cool before cutting, as this helps them hold together better.
