In lieu of egg, these delicious chocolate chip cookies are made with plain yogurt. They're lightly sweetened with enough chocolate chips to keep both kids and adults satisfied.

I do so love cookies, so I'm always looking for variations on classic recipes.
Yogurt is a great addition when baking, particularly because it adds protein. It's also a good source of probiotics, though that's probably negated since it's being heated. D'oh!
In this recipe, yogurt takes the place of egg and reacts with the baking soda to create a soft cookie that's just the right amount of sweet!

FAQs
Yes, I've used oat flour with success, though they are a tad more crumbly. Just let them sit until cool, as this will help them hold together better.
I use plain, full-fat yogurt for these cookies, NOT Greek yogurt. Using Greek yogurt may result in a drier cookie, as it is thicker and contributes less liquid to the dough.
I believe softened (not melted) coconut oil will also work, though I haven't tried it.
