Chocolate Cherry Smoothie (Jadie's 'Fat Shake')

This delicious chocolate cherry smoothie recipe is my oldest daughter's favorite way to begin a day, and it's loaded with healthy fats, which help keep her focused!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk of your choice (can use half water, if desired) see Notes
  • ¼ avocado
  • 1 Tbsp hemp seeds
  • 1 tsp chia seeds
  • 1 slightly heaped Tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2 tsp raw honey
  • ½ cup frozen cherries
  • good dash sea salt
  • stevia to taste
  • big handful fresh spinach optional
  • 5 ice cube tray-sized ice cubes

Instructions

  • Blend everything until smooth and creamy, adding stevia to taste.
