It's no secret that I absolutely LOVE beans, especially in my desserts.
They offer a significant amount of protein (in addition to bulk and texture) to treats that buffers the sugar component, giving you much less of a blood sugar swing.

What an awesome post! Congrats!! It's so nice to see high-protein treats that don't rely on protein powder! I'd much rather get my protein from beans, nuts, etc. than a mysterious powder!

I absolutely LOVE this list! High protein recipes are the best, and bean-based desserts are so easy and surprisingly versatile. Now I just have to decide which recipe from the list to make for dessert tonight 🙂
