Creamy and delicious apple peanut butter smoothie made without bananas! This dairy-free apple cinnamon smoothie makes a nice light and healthy breakfast.
This smoothie has been great for mornings when I'm not that hungry. It's satiating, but not cloying. It's also incredibly delicious and easy to make!
The combination of flavors is perfect for the upcoming Fall months, and the added peanut butter adds a nice dose of protein to balance out the sugar.
Add in a handful of greens or a scoop of protein, if you like, and you have a nice, rounded-out little drink!
Recipe notes
I would really recommend using salted peanut butter, as the salt brings out the flavors of the other ingredients.
You can substitute 1/4 cup of Greek yogurt for the same amount of milk to increase the protein more.

Pretty bad. It was so watery, even after I added alnosy half a cup of yogurt AND ice...

Sorry you didn't like this. It's not meant to be really thick though, so you might look for one with added banana or avocado next time.

We tried this tonight. It is pretty watery as mentioned above but it also has an unpleasant texture. We will try again with almond milk and maybe a banana. Possibly skip the ice too. Thanks for taking the time to share this even if it wasn't our favourite. Much appreciated!
Lauren
Sorry Brittany! I guess I should explain the texture a little better on this one, lol. Thanks for leaving a nice comment though! 🙂
