Frozen Cinnamon Date Treats (Vegan, Paleo)--Video

Frozen Cinnamon Date Treats (Vegan, Paleo)

Though this recipe may be a total no-brainer for some of you, I felt it was worth sharing (and even making a video for)!

If you've never tried freezing a date, let me just tell you, it's absolutely delicious!

It takes on the quality of a caramel candy, in that the texture becomes firmer, but not solid, and by filling it with your favorite nut or seed butter and topping it with a sprinkle of cinnamon, the flavor is over the top scrumptious.

I would even dare to say that filling these with peanut butter gives these a makeshift Snickers taste.

Please enjoy the following video showing you just how to make this easy sweet!

      Lauren:

You have saved us from insanity. My husband and I have been on a gluten restricted diet , for awhile now, and if it wasn't for you we would never be able to stay on it. Your recipes are just incredible.

My husband always speaks of your delights to our friends, and gives them your website. We are both grateful for your ingenuity and creativity. I am sure you have helped thousands of people serious about getting healthy.

Thank you so much for what you do. I always check for new recipes, because I am tired of making him the stay at home brownie. LOL

How can I possibly thank you enough for posting this recipe??? I just made these this morning and popped the first one in my mouth about 5 minutes ago....OMG!!!!! I had never heard of such a combination and it was soooo good! Now I can give these to my boys (and myself) and feel like we're indulging in a box of candy, but without any guilt! The sprinkling of cinnamon on top is the perfect touch - thank you for this Lauren!!!! πŸ™‚

I've eaten these a lot but I never thought of freezing them, what a great idea!! I also haven't had cinnamon on them, either. Can't wait to try it!

      LOVE it Lauren!

My wife is crazy about cinnamon (and paleo)!

The problem with most diet is they leave you hungry.. And you will never lose weight and keep it off on any diet that leaves you hungry all the time.

One of the unique features of Paleo is that it reduces hunger dramatically.

I don't want to list all the gimmicks and diets I've tried and that have failed in the end because I couldn't resist to snack like a starving shark.

Eating Paleo tamed my 'inner shark'. 8 weeks pure paleo (following PaleoLeap's step-by-step guide with meal plan - for your ref.: http:// timreviews.com/paleo-recipe)

Lauren, what was your best experience with Paleo?

      Regards

      Tim

PS As always I LOVE your videos. I know I've said this before but you're a natural in front of the camera!
