No sweeteners added to this delicious and simple cinnamon raisin overnight oats recipe - It's so easy, you'll have it memorized and be ready to make it whenever you want!
For the few of you that might not know, overnight oatmeal is basically a cold cereal of oats, milk, and other subjective add-ins that have been soaking overnight.
These days, you can use Google and find just about any flavor of overnight oats. Actually, you could probably find a recipe for anything online anymore! With the explosion of Pinterest and food blogging in general, we're nearing a point where it's all been done.
Overnight oatmeal was one of the first recipes I tried from the blog world prior to starting Oatmeal with a Fork.
While I have a few overnight oats recipes already on the blog, this one has been my favorite lately.
I know it by heart, and Nat and Sam both love it.
I especially like making it for school days, as we can be quite rushed some mornings. Having this ready to go in the fridge makes breakfast much easier!
When the raisins soak with the oats and milk, they impart their sweetness, eliminating the need for extra sweetener. Cinnamon and vanilla add flavor, and if you use a thick, homemade milk (like my Homemade Coconut Milk), the recipe comes out almost decadent!
We like our oats thick over here, so there's just enough milk to give everything a good soak, but nothing is 'swimming'. You can add in another glug in the morning if you like though!

I love all of your overnight oats recipes! It's because of you that I have it every other morning for breakfast! I like to experiment with different fruits, nuts, seeds, and natural sweeteners to make a new combination every time. Hard to beat cinnamon raisin, though (have you tried adding butter extract/flavor to give it a cookie taste?)!

Thanks Celina! I haven't tried any other flavorings, though we do add blueberries occasionally! 🙂
